Emergency Alert 09-23-2026: ***Wednesday Update No. 1*** PLEASE BEAR WITH US AS INFORMATION COMES IN, UPDATES WILL BE COMING; THEY MAY SEEM CONTRADICTORY If you need assistance inside your residence, come to City Hall. We need written permission for volunteers to enter your home. You must complete mandatory forms. ***Wednesday Cleanup Guidance*** The ditch is still not safe to be near. Please stay away from it. If you need items picked up, please have items at the curb; we cannot enter your homes to retrieve materials. The damaged materials drop-off site will close at 6:00 PM and reopen at 8:00 AM. Please follow the signs for directions. Please be prepared to show proof of residency. Sandbags will be disposed of at the city brush collection point on top of the hill to the right (SW portion). Please only use dump sites explicitly mentioned here. Unlawful dumping will be prosecuted. Please use excess caution when driving around on Wednesday. Volunteers and heavy equipment will be everywhere. Please exercise caution for your neighbors. Please stay on the roads to protect city and private property. The ground is very soggy, and it could be damaged further. Exit road surfaces only if directed. Bathrooms are located at City Hall and the temporary drop-off point. Please respect our community.

St. Olaf Lake Park

No Tobacco Use Allowed on Beach

St. Olaf Lake Park is a city owned facility, located 3.5 miles northeast of New Richland. Amenities available are:

Public Beach staffed with Lifeguards
Playground
Grills
Boat ramp near by
Restroom facilities
Volleyball Court
DNR fishing pier nearby
Covered Pavillion (available for reservations at no charge, however any donation for upkeep of the park is greatly appreciated.)

Portable stoves or grills are permitted. Open burning and the harvesting of firewood are NOT allowed.

Pets are allowed only on a leash no longer than 6 feet and are NOT allowed in park buildings or on the public beach.
