⚠️ Emergency Alert 06-04-2025: Construction Zone Safety While we know that it is exciting to have a construction project going on in New Richland, it is very important for everyone to maintain a safe distance from the construction site. For that reason, “Stay safe by staying out”. We are seeing an increase in people near the construction zones appearing to try and see what is going on. This can put these individuals at risk of serious injuries. These areas have large trucks and heavy equipment working in close quarters, uneven ground and other hazards. Staying out of the works zones helps keep everyone safe and lets the contractors do their work efficiently. Please remind everyone to stay out of the work zones. The City of New Richland will try to provide updates as often as possible regarding the 2025 Street and Utility Project.

  • Online complaints with a valid address are reviewed during normal business hours
  • Your name and contact information is confidential and not shared with the public or violator
  • Code enforcement is complaint-based. You must submit a complaint to start an investigation
  • Due to workload, complaints will be processed as soon as possible

Non-Emergency Line

Do not submit animal, on-street parking, burning, fireworks, or noise related violations online.  Staff will not follow up on these types of complaints submitted.  You must report these types of violations while they are occurring by calling the 24-hour non-emergency police number at 507-465-3240 or 507-835-0500.
